Make small round copper
and brass boxes

A class can be really wide ranging. Come to my studio, play with my toys, make art, meet like-minded students and expect anything!

Comfort with a Torch

Knowledge is power. Knowing how and why a torch works will make you comfortable using one. We have both air/acetylene torches and an oxy/propane torch. With 4 torches (and lots of safety training), you'll get a lot of practice time with the flame.

Students receive an (excellent) instruction booklet to take home.

Notes

  • Everything for all projects is supplied by the instructor, but if you want to work in silver you'll need to bring your own.

  • Completely unique and unavailable anywhere but at the Volcano Arts Studio.

  • A certain amount of hand-strength is required in any metal fabricating you do.
