This journal is a workhorse. It's the easiest of our leather kits and yet is as durable a book as you would want for everyday use. Saddle makers know that this is the best leather for durability and great looks. It's like a blank canvas waiting for you to bring it to life!

We've done the hard work for you. The leather is hand-beveled on the edges for a softer, more finished look and the spine has been hand-grooved so that the book will close nicely.
Difficulty rating:

Finished Journal size: 8 3/4" X 5 3/4"

Check out the Idea Center and see what we and others have done with this kit.

This book is an example of what can be done with our leather journal kit. It was made with the natural colored leather and then dyed black later. Find out more by clicking on the image.

This kit comes in your choice of 4 beautiful colors. The natural is light so that you can paint or stamp with darker colors. The darker leathers are great for stamping with light colored inks, especially fabric inks.
