| This journal was
made and painted by Christine Cox using Volcano
Arts' Large Leather Journal Kit.
The image (from KK Originals) was stamped on
the front using permanent ink. A diamond shaped reverse mask was used to
prevent ink from straying outside the diamond. It was then painted with Radiant Pearls (a
translucent artist's paint). The journal was then carefully dyed using
leather dye.
The debossed border was created by rubbing
a bone folder repeatedly over the leather using an acrylic template as a
guide (a ruler would work too). |
